Welcoming New Guests

I am always welcoming new guests. It may take a few weeks to get in though. I prefer to do your color and cut because I believe they have to marry each other. If you don’t have colored hair, then you probably have pixie or short hair. My ideal client loves to be pampered. You are a professional and a mom. You believe in quality. Your happy hour choice is an extra olive, extra cold, dirty martini. When you eat at a restaurant, it’s typically a farm-to-table BYOB. and most importantly, you always order dessert. You are super laid back, like to get your hands dirty, but enjoy the finer things in life. You work hard. You appreciate honesty. You love deeply and enjoy intellectual conversation. You like change. You value me as a professional and appreciate my creativity. Last but not least you prefer your coffee french pressed, with almond milk and raw sugar. To top it off you’ll never turn down some sweet foam!

Allison has…

had a passion for the beauty industry since she was a little girl. "With my grandmother being a stylist and having some really bad perms, I knew it was for me. I fell in love with the craft. It was the only way I knew how to express myself. It was about how it made people feel and all the colors and shapes and creativity." She also has a growing passion for education. She enjoys helping others feel confident and reaching their goals professionally. She has been trained by some of the world’s most respected artists in the industry. She travels the East Coast to train other cosmetologists in the industry. She Specializes in Short Hair cuts, Advanced Hair Color Techniques, Color Correction, Education, and Special Occasion Hair.

 Outside the Salon

It’s usually very hard for me to disconnect from the business. But when I do, its getting my hands dirty, decorating my house, and enjoying nature. I love to garden. It’s the only activity that truly shuts off my mind. I cherish alone time in my little blow-up hot tub and can certainly binge-watch a good series in a day. My family and I have a trailer. Escaping there for a night or 2 is certainly my happy place. My husband and I love to cook or enjoy a good meal out. My son, Jayden, is just about 16 and he’s incredibly smart. My daughter, Tiarah, is 13 and I swear she will be Mayor someday. I’m blessed and I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Tattoos, jewelry, and collect self-help books that I typically don’t finish reading. I love Horoscopes, the stars, and studying intuitive energy. I love my fur babies and therapy. Yup, I said it, I love going to therapy! I love the fall. I love not wearing shoes. I love being alone, exploring, and I love change. I love tarot cards, psychology, a tight circle, making the people I love smile and I love good hair!
