Hi, My name is Dawn Cruz. Welcome to SiMPLEE U! It’s so nice to meet you. I am originally from Northeast Philadelphia but have been in the Bucks County area for 20 years. Being a stylist at SiMPLEE U not only has been a great job, but it’s a great place to meet new friends and work with some old friends as well.

I’ve been a licensed stylist for 20 years. I have always enjoyed my job, but it took me a long time to appreciate it. Life gets crazy at times. It throws you unexpected curve balls. In the last 5-10 years, I began to appreciate all the amazing things being a stylist has to offer. The people and relationships, the flexibility, and making people feel good. I realized when we feel good physically and emotionally, it makes all those curve balls worth it. This job doesn’t make you feel like your alone. We are a close community and we are here to help you.

Honestly. I love all the services. Dimensional hair color, reds, and bridal services, are my favorite but you will see me get my hands dirty in everything. I went to Bucks County School of Beauty Culture. During my education time there I also received my Education Degree. So I have the ability to teach cosmetology as well. I love braking out a mannequin and practicing up styles and new techniques that are trending.

Outside the salon my family keeps me entertained with their talents in dance classes, different music venues and concerts, and making silly videos with my son. In my free time I like to read self help books at Peace Valley Park, experiencing new things with my kids, trying new recipes full of flavor, or even making an Italian classic with my home made gravy. Being positive, working out, and having weekend parties with my large family is what keeps me looking forward.
